About the Founder

Hi, I’m Sara, founder of Altasphere.

After many years in product development and sourcing, I decided to create something of my own. I’ve always had a strong interest in wellness, and I wanted to bring together a collection of thoughtful, good-quality products to support self-care, intentional living, and meaningful gifting.

The name Altasphere is a personal one. Inspired by Altadena, the town where I grew up, alta is the Latin word for “elevated.” It’s a reflection of my roots and my goal: to help lift everyday routines through better self-care and beautifully considered rituals.

Altasphere is very much a one-woman business- run by me, with support from a small group of fabulous consultants and collaborators in marketing, graphic design, and quality control, all of whom are experts in their fields. Together, they help to keep the focus on curating a range that’s not just beautiful, but truly useful and aligned with values that matter.

Every product is chosen with care, from what it’s made of to how it’s packaged. I’m committed to working with suppliers who share my values — sustainability, responsible manufacturing, and treating people and the planet with respect.
